#R1##TD# Mcfadden bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Prather Iii can't do much from the bottom here. Prather Iii might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Mcfadden haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Prather Iii is trying to improve his position. Mcfadden working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Prather Iii tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. Mcfadden scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Prather Iii?

Michael Prather Iii seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Prather Iii is looking to clinch. Mcfadden went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Mcfadden throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Prather Iii. Andres Mcfadden is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Prather Iii looks for a takedown but Mcfadden sprawls well. Andres Mcfadden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Prather Iii.#T3# Prather Iii dives in and grabs Mcfadden's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mcfadden pushes down on Prather Iii's head and hops out. Mcfadden tries a head kick but it misses.

Prather Iii shoots for a double leg takedown but Mcfadden sprawls well. He's pushed Prather Iii's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Prather Iii blocks a head kick by Mcfadden.
Prather Iii has his takedown stuffed and Mcfadden counters with a three punch combo that has Prather Iii backing up. Prather Iii nods at Mcfadden to acknowledge the strikes.#T4# Mcfadden loads up on a big right hand but Prather Iii slips the punch.
