#R1# Wilson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ball. Ball tries to bum rush Wilson with a series of wild strikes but Wilson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Wilson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Ball is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wilson. Wilson with the counter takedown but Ball avoids it easily. Wilson throws a push kick but Ball slaps the foot to one side. Wilson on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. #CL2# Wilson moves into the clinch. Come on Ball - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wilson drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Ball has Wilson pushed against the cage. Ball will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Wilson up against the cage. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Left Ball. Wilson misses with a series of wild punches.
Ball tests Wilson's chin there with a solid looking shot.#CUT# It looks like Chris Wilson has been cut. Ball fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Wilson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Ball misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Wilson.
Ball misses with a right hand #CL2# and Wilson holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. #T2# Ball working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Ball lands a body punch. Ball is pushing Wilson up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Wilson has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Ball seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Wilson can turn it around. Ball has Wilson pushed against the cage. A nice left hand lands by Ball.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wilson stalling in the clinch but Ball improves position. Ball slowing the pace effectively. Ball scores with an uppercut up the middle. Ball throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Wilsons head. #T3# Ball is pushing Wilson up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Stalling in the clinch from Ball.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Left Ball. Wilson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ball is fending him off so far but Wilson persists. Nope, Ball circles away and we're back to standing. Left Ball has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Wilson. Wilson wants to clinch. Wilson misses with a leg kick. Ball lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Wilson at a distance.
Wilson tries to clinch but Ball moves out of range. Ball throws a monster overhand right that drops Wilson! Ball follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Left Ball!

#R1##TD2# Wilson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Bow on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bow tries to get out of the position. The fighters are battling for position here. Bow manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Wilson preventing the sweep. Bow manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wilson manages to get himself to full guard.
#REVR# Wilson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bow. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bow makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Bow has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Wilson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bow controls the pace. Bow passes Wilson's left leg - he's now in half guard. Bow sitting and controlling from the half guard. Bow definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bow has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. #T1# Bow lands a couple of good shots and Wilson has given up his back, trying to escape the position!#CUT# It looks like Chris Wilson has been cut. Bow cracks Wilson with a big right hand from the back mount! Wilson immediately covers up and the referee dives in to save him under a barrage of more strikes! Bow takes this one by TKO!
