Dutt working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Dutt stops Bandicoot from standing up. Dutt content to stall in guard here. Dutt landing with the ground and pound. Dutt has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bandicoot is trying to escape and get back to his feet.#T3# The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. The strikes coming from Dutt are missing the target in this wave of attacks. #ES2# Bandicoot throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Bandicoot displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dutt. Bandicoot fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. Bandicoot throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Dutt looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. #R1# O Connor throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Dutt's head.#TD# Dutt looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for O Connor! Dutt working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Dutt scoring with punches and elbows. Dutt has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. O Connor tries to buck Dutt off but Dutt is having none of it. O Connor is still trying to improve position. Dutt working the ground and pound. O Connor is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Dutt asserts his dominance and retains side control. Dutt landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. O Connor manages to work his way to half guard, despite Dutt's best efforts. Dutt winds up and cracks O Connor with a swinging punch to the side of the head. O Connor has hold of Dutt's hands but Dutt slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.#T1# The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Dutt lands a nice short elbow. #R1##TD2# Dutt shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hornie is trying to defend but Dutt finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Dutt lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Dutt throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Hornie makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Hornie. Dutt sitting in guard here, content to control. Dutt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hornie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hornie wants to stand and escape but Dutt is having none of it. Dutt is in close to Hornie's body, working some short punches and elbows. Dutt must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Hornie bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dutt's guard. #REVR# Hornie makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.#T1# Hornie preventing the sweep. Dutt looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Dutt lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVB# Hornie looking to control.

Dutt content to stall in guard here. #T2# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Dutt postures up and lands a big shot to Hornie's brow. #SUB# Hornie has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Dutt should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Hornie has tightened it up now! Dutt should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

#R1# Socrates throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Dutt. Dutt changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Socrates tries to avoid it but Dutt manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Socrates to the ground. Socrates escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Yogi Dutt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dutt closes this distance looking for a takedown but Socrates circles away. Socrates really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Dutt fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Socrates throws a big counter combination but Dutt scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Brabus Socrates has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yogi Dutt. The fight stays on the outside here - Socrates looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Dutt throws out a counter right but Socrates avoids it with no problem. Dutt misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Socrates.

King sprawls well initially but Dutt persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Dutt is thwarting King's attempts to control the position. Dutt with the ground and pound but King uses the opportunity to regain guard. Dutt pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. King is keeping the position for now. Dutt working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Dutt wants to pass the guard but King is keeping the position. Dutt controlling from the top position. #SUB# Dutt drops back, looking for a kneebar! King looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. King looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control!
