#R1##TD2# Jones fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Roth to the ground. Jones is now in Roth's guard. Jones throws a strike but Roth rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. #REVR# Roth stopping the sweep attempt from Jones. Jones keeping full guard, as Roth tries to pass. Jones looking for a sweep. Not yet Jones, not yet. #SUB2# Jones has his foot on Roth's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Roth works his way back into a safe position though. Jones wants to get back to his feet but Roth is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.#T1# Roth trying to stand up but can't free himself from Jones's guard.#ES2# Jones has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Roth is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.#TD# Roth manages to pull guard.
Jones slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Jones is pushing down on Roth's leg trying to pass to half guard. Roth is fighting to maintain full guard but Jones has managed to sneak the leg through. Jones takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Jones lands strikes from half guard.#T2# Jones throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Jones tries to pass the half guard into mount. Roth knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Jones content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Jones drops an elbow to the side of Roth's head. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Jones in particular looking to stall.#T3##SUB2# Jones is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Roth is just riding it out for now. Jones eventually gives up the hold. Jones takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.#T4# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Jones trying to mount his opponent but Roth defends it. Jones is figuring out what he wants to do next. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!#TD2# Roth gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jones to score an easy takedown into full guard. Roth knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground.#SU2# Roth is working an open guard so Jones takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Jones dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. #R2##CL2# Jones clinches up against the cage. Jones wants to take the fight to the mat but Roth manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.#BC2# Jones breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Roth displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jones. No luck with that takedown attempt from Jones. Roth appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Elbert Roth has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Jones. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones tries a head kick but it misses.
Jon Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jones dives in for a single leg takedown but Roth sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.#CL# Roth pushes Jones up against the cage in a clinch. Jones tries to pull guard but Roth holds him up against the cage and eventually Jones drops back down to his feet.

Jones drops down looking for an ankle pick but Roth pulls his leg out and moves away.
No joy there for Jones, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
#CL2# Jones moves into the clinch. Jones tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Roth just stands there and leans against the cage. Roth jumps guard but Jones stands there with Roth around his waist. Roth gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
#TD2# Jones decides to pull guard. #T2# Jones is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Roth postures up.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Jones. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Roth stopping the sweep attempt from Jones. Jones wants to improve his position but instead Roth has moved into half guard.
It looks like Roth is going to stand back up.
#T3# Roth content to control rather than advance. Roth is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Jones wants to control but Roth is keeping busy.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.#ES2# Jones has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Roth is on him like a limpet, forcing Jones back against the cage. Jones dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. A short right hand to the side of the head by Jones.#T4# Jones leaning his opponent against the cage. Roth jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jones walks away with a smile on his face. Roth gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. #TD2# Jones closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Roth's guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jones stays in close to Roth's body and controls the position. Roth looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Jones puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round! #R3# Roth changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Roth manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Roth shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jones as he jumps to the side. Jones fails with the takedown and Roth counters with a left to the body. Jones shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Roth keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Elbert Roth has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Jones. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Roth throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Roth off to one side. #CL2# The fight moves into the clinch position.#T1# The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Jones takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. #TD2# Jones ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jones no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. #SU# Roth decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Nice takedown defense from Roth. No joy for Jones on that attempt. #TD2# Excellent takedown into side control there by Jones. #SU2# Jones stands up and beckons Roth to his feet. Jones takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.#T2# Roth shoots for a takedown but Jones saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Jones has been the more effective fighter overall so far.#TD2# Jones gets a double leg takedown into Roth's guard. Jones sitting in guard, not really doing much. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jones is working Roth over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. #T3##SUB# Roth throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Roth is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Jones scores with a couple of nice shots.#T4# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.#SU2# Jones escapes and gets back to his feet. #CL2# Jones clinches up against the cage. Jones is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.#BC2# Jones breaks the clinch.
#TD2# Jones shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.#SU2# Jones stands up and waves to Roth to follow him. Elbert Roth has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jon Jones is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Jones pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Roth back to the cage. Jones follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
And that's the end of the fight! Jon Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Jon Jones! In his post fight interview, Jon Jones started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
