Grant is defending well but Rigor drives through and ends up in Grant's guard.#ES# Grant has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Rigor has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.#TD# Grant manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. #ES# Grant wriggles free and stands up. Rigor tries to clinch up but Grant circles away and keeps his distance. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.#TD2# Rigor looking to score a takedown here. Grant is defending well but Rigor drives through and ends up in Grant's guard.#ES# Grant has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Rigor off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. #TD2# Rigor scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.#ES# Grant throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Grant could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Rigor pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rigor falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Grant to counter with a crisp jab. #CL# Grant moves into range and clinches up with Rigor.#T1# Rigor being controlled against the cage. Rigor wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Grant has him pressed against the cage.#TD2# Rigor has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Grant is trying to keep an underhook but Rigor manages to get the takedown into half guard.#ES# Grant makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Grant throws a sloppy head kick and Rigor counters with a one-two to the body. #TD2# Rigor closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Grant did well to prevent Rigor getting side control.#ES# Grant pushes Rigor off and gets back to his feet. The crowd are loving this. Great action here.#TD2# Grant gets caught flat footed, as Rigor shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.#ES# Grant has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. #TD# Grant ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Grant no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. #SUB2# Rigor thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. #ES# Grant wriggles free and stands up. Rigor scores with a nice head shot. Rigor throws a low kick but Grant moves out of range easily. A good leg kick by Rigor. #CL# Grant forces Rigor back against the cage and clinches.#T3##BC# Grant manages to break the clinch.
#TD# Rigor tries to sprawl but Grant drives through with a takedown into half guard. Rigor has a hand on Grant's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Grant takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Grant looking to finish Rigor with some ground and pound. This is bad for Rigor! Grant landing punches. Grant landing strikes from the mount. Grant with a couple of short strikes. Grant takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.#SUB# Grant is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Grant!
