Alexander Gus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pakyaw will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

#R1# Gus throws a hook but White avoids it easily. Gus throws a hook to the side of White's head but White sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. White tries to clinch up. White throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Gus walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. White takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from White - that will leave a mark!
White shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Gus eats them both and turns towards White to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.#CUT2# It looks like Alexander Gus has been cut. White tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gus swats him away and circles back towards the center. #CL# Gus closes the distance and clinches. White wants to break the clinch but can't.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. White obliges. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! White lands a nice elbow from the clinch. White is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes. Gus is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Gus swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! White steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Gus. Crack! A monster head kick from White and Gus falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by White!

#R1# Gus throws a jab when Esch was well out of range. It looked like Esch was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Esch definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Gus fails with an attempt to clinch.
Esch ducks under a wild hook from Gus. Esch jabbing away but nothing is landing. Gus tries to close the distance and clinch but Esch swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A solid body kick from Esch. Gus takes a jab right on the kisser.
#CUT# It looks like Alexander Gus has been cut. Esch keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Esch is looking to counter the offense by Gus and move into the clinch. Esch throws a series of punches but Gus avoids them all with ease. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#CL# Esch has managed to clinch.
Esch is leaning against Gus and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Gus looks winded!#KD# Esch creates a bit of space for himself and unleashed what can only be described as a tiger uppercut, straight out of Street Fighter! Gus crashes to the mat! Can he make it back to his feet in time? 3,4,5, yes, he's made it back to his feet. He seems OK so it looks like we're going to continue! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. BAM! Esch delivers a spinning backfist that drops Gus like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
