#R1# Smith slips a straight right by Hatton. And Smith tries to counter it with a takedown but Hatton pushes his down on his head and steps out. Hatton works the jab nicely. Hatton throws a sloppy head kick and Smith moves out of range easily. A swing and a miss from Hatton. Hatton scores with the left hand. Smith knows he should have avoided that one. Smith takes one on the button. Hatton lands with an uppercut that bounces Smith off the cage and back into range. Hatton's jab looks to have found its range, popping Smith under the eye. Hatton is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hatton scores with a nice head shot. Hatton misses with a looping left. Smith with the counter takedown but Hatton avoids it easily. Hatton throws a hook to the side of Smith's head but Smith sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.#T1# Hatton fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Smith has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Hatton scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Smith should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Hatton swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
#TD2# and Smith decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hatton's guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Smith accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Smith is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Smith missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Smith is pushing down on Hatton's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hatton is fighting to maintain full guard but Smith has managed to sneak the leg through. Smith is taking a breather. Hatton says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Smith's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.#T2# Smith works his way into side control. Hatton tries to improve position but can't. Hatton looking for a sweep but Smith has passed into full mount! Oh no!#SUB2# Smith working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Smith landing strikes, looking to finish! Smith controlling the position easily from mount. Smith breaks from Hatton's wrist control and lands an elbow. #T3# Smith takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.#SUB2# Smith has isolated one of Hatton's arms. Hatton looking to fight him off but Smith twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
