#R1# Griffin looks for a takedown but Jackson sprawls well. Jackson fails in his attempt to clinch. Jackson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Griffin sprawls well. Griffin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jackson gets slowly back to his feet. Jackson throws a right hand that misses
#TD2# and Griffin counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Griffin keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jackson's head. Jackson working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Griffin. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Griffin is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. #SUB# Jackson looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Griffin has picked Jackson up and slammed him! Jackson can't keep hold of the triangle and Griffin manages to pass to side control! Griffin lands an elbow. Griffin working the ground and pound from side control.#T1# Jackson is looking to reverse the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Check out the look on Griffin's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Jackson is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Griffin lands some shots froms side control. Griffin lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Jackson takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Jackson is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Griffin cracks Jackson with an elbow. That is naaassty. Griffin looks up at the clock and then as Jackson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Griffin smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
#ROC2# Jackson is rocked! Griffin lands some shots froms side control. Oh Jackson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Griffin scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Jackson is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Griffin can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
