We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Spast wanted to stand there but Long had control of the position. Spast throws a big elbow that misses. #T1# Long manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Spast manages to get himself to full guard.

Dos Santos can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Long controls the pace.#SUB2# Dos Santos has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Long is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Dos Santos. Nice work!#TD2# Hervani shoots in and gets a takedown into Long's guard. Hervani stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Long swivels though and keeps the full guard. Long is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Long wants to get back to his feet but Hervani is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Hervani trying to control but Long is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T1# Hervani trying to stand up but can't free himself from Long's guard.#SUB# Long pushes a forearm under Hervani's chin to create some space. #R1# Some bone on bone action there as Long checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Peaker circles away from the clinch attempt.
Long could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Peaker throws a big shot that misses. Peaker misses with a straight left. Peaker tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Long was well out of range. Poor timing from Peaker. Peaker throws a hook but Long blocks it. Peaker throws a low kick but Long moves out of range easily. Long attempts a counter takedown but Peaker avoids it well and moves away. Long tries for a takedown but Peaker sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Peaker misses with a looping left. Matt Peaker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#TD2# Peaker shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Long has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Peaker is working away from the top position though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Peaker postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Long on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Long doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
