#R1# Sli tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Sli is looking to clinch but Fonseca is avoiding it.
Sli really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#CL# Sli forces Fonseca back against the cage and clinches.#TD# Sli jumps guard.
Sli looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Fonseca slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Fonseca works a leg free and moves into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fonseca is controlling the pace.
#SUB2# Fonseca in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Sli tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Fonseca !

Fonseca tries to stand but Gregory is controlling from the bottom. Fonseca works over Gregory with some ground and pound from guard. Gregory knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fonseca on the ground. Gregory working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Fonseca . The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fonseca throws a strike but Gregory rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. #REVR# Fonseca pulls Gregory in close to prevent any damage. #SUB2# Fonseca has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Gregory should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Fonseca has tightened it up now! Gregory should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Francisco Javier Fonseca !
