No joy for Armbar on that attempt. Roldan tries to counter with a takedown but Armbar is quick to defend against it.#TD2# Armbar fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Roldan sprawls well initially but Armbar persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Armbar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Roldan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Roldan manages to get to full guard.

Armbar uses the oldest trick in the book to send Roldan tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Armbar is absolutely delighted - when Roldan wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!

Salmon looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. #CL# Armbar closes the distance and pushes Salmon back into the cage. Salmon tries to break free but Armbar pushes him back against the cage.#BC# Armbar manages to break the clinch.
A combination from Armbar does no damage. Armbar misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A nice side step and Salmon releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Salmon shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Armbar defends it nicely. Armbar seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Armbar blocks a head kick by Salmon.

Rico Armbar is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Armbar manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Rico Armbar showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Armbar, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Brawner has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Armbar tries to break the clinch but Brawner is controlling the position. #TD# Brawner pulls guard effortlessly. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Armbar accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. #SUB# Brawner is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Armbar is aware though and is defending well. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Armbar trying to control the position from guard on top but Brawner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Brawner is trying to control the position but Armbar postures up.
