Ryder looks to score with a jab to the body but Shelton is just out of range.#TD2# Ryder closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Shelton is looking to reverse the position. Shelton is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.#SUB2# Ryder is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Maddox takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Maddox can't do much from the bottom here. Maddox tries to buck Shelton off but Shelton is having none of it.#T1# Maddox on the wrong end of some ground and pound. That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Shelton not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Shelton content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Shelton controlling from the guard. Huntelaar tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
