Kaoru goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Brown slaps away a takedown attempt from Kaoru, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Brown throws a fast counter high kick but Kaoru manages to duck under it in time.
Brown throws a right hand that Kaoru ducks under and follows up with a left that Kaoru also avoids with ease.
Kaoru thinks about countering with a head kick.
Brown is looking to clinch but Kaoru is avoiding it.
Brown misses with a jab, cross combination.

Kaoru looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Castaneda looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Castaneda could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Castaneda tries to break free but Kaoru pushes him back against the cage.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kaoru has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.#BC#

Rios has his foot on Kaoru's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kaoru works his way back into a safe position though.
Rios might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
