#R1# Maben looks to throw the jab but Allen is out of range. Allen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Allen tries to close the distance and clinch but Maben swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Maben throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. As Maben backs off Allen throws a huge counter combo but Maben manages to avoid it all. Allen shoots in looking for a takedown. Maben tries to sprawl out of it but Allen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Maben manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Allen cracks Maben with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A looping hook to the body misses from Maben. Allen does a little dance to reset his feet. Maben misses with a hook. and Allen counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Allen is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Maben circles away from the clinch attempt.
Allen slips a jab from Maben. Allen closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. A big left from Maben misses. Maben stuns Allen with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Maben misses with a straight left. Maben misses the shot to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#CL2# Maben darts in and clinches Allen up against the cage. A shot in the inside from Maben. Allen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. #R1# Allen tries to clinch up. Hitter drops down looking for a counter takedown but Allen sprawls and moves away. No luck with that takedown attempt from Allen. #TD# Hitter scores with a takedown into Allen's guard. Allen wants to get back to his feet but Hitter is in a dominant position and won't allow it. #SU# Hitter gets to his feet - Allen follows without any prompting. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD# Hitter throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Allen tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hitter is in Allen's guard. Hitter working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. #SUB# Hitter is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. #T1# Hitter is working Allen over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Hitter tries to free his leg and advance position but Allen is retaining full guard. Hitter not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. #SUB# Hitter drops back looking for a leg! Allen is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Allen manages to kick Hitter off! Hitter jumps back into Allen's guard. Hitter throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Allen works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Allen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hitter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#T2# A few boos can be heard. It looks like he's just sitting there. #T4# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Allen is trying to get back to full guard. Hitter keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Hitter seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Allen for as long as he can get away with.#REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. #SUB# Allen has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Hitter to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Allen is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Hitter pulls down on the head and he's put Allen to sleep! This one is all over!
