Bjj jabs at Rypalev's body. Rypalev displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bjj throws out the jab. Bjj looks to score with a jab to the body but Rypalev is just out of range. Rypalev misses with a double jab

Rypalev sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Rypalev tries for a takedown but Smashmouth sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Bruiser Smashmouth has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. Steve knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rypalev on the ground.#SUB2# Rypalev looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Rypalev is pressing down on Steve's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Steve is looking to stand up but Rypalev won't let him. #SUB2# Rypalev had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Steve defends it easily.#SUB2# Steve is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Rypalev has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Steve is looking to defend but Rypalev has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Steve! Rypalev pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Steve taps out and this one is all over!
