Blankenship looks for a takedown but Ramazanoglu sprawls well. Blankenship shoots in for a takedown but Ramazanoglu shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Ramazanoglu changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leif Blankenship. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ramazanoglu stuffs the takedown attempt from Blankenship. Blankenship gets slowly back to his feet. #R1##TD# Blankenship is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Richard's half guard.#SUB2# Richard looking for submissions off his back. The fighters are battling for position here. Richard manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Blankenship knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Richard on the ground.#SUB2# Richard working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Blankenship doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Blankenship manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. #SUB2# Richard has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Blankenship should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Richard has tightened it up now! Blankenship should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Well Blankenship has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Diaz wants to get back to his feet but Blankenship is dominant here and he's now got Diaz's back! Blankenship is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Blankenship misses with punches from the back. Diaz is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
