Insect ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Ledru misses the shot to the body. #TD#
Ledru closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ledru lands in his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Insect wants to sweep but no luck.
Ledru is working Insect over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Ledru trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Insect trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Insect wants to stand up but Ledru is controlling him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ledru stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Insect swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Insect rushes Mallick and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Mallick has Insect pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Insect manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. #BC2#
