#R1# Garces avoids the body shot from Alexander.
As Alexander backs off Garces throws a huge counter combo but Alexander manages to avoid it all. Alexander looks to throw the jab but Garces is out of range. Alexander throws a lazy right hand but Garces sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.#TD2# Garces drives through with a takedown into guard. Garces wants to control from the top but Alexander keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Garces postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Alexander looking to sweep here. No luck so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Garces stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Alexander swivels though and keeps the full guard. #SUB2# Garces is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Alexander is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Alexander has escaped and now he's on top! #REVR# Alexander has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Alexander wants to stand and escape but instead Garces has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. #REVB##T1# Garces throwing strikes but missing. Alexander looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Garces trying to control the position from guard on top but Alexander is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Garces with a flurry of punches that miss. Alexander preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. #T2# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Alexander keeping moving, preventing Garces from controlling successfully. Garces throwing strikes but missing. Garces postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Garces slips nicely into half guard. Garces is pressing down on Alexander's thigh, looking to free his foot. Alexander is holding on for now. Garces thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Alexander's head. #T3# Garces wants to lay and pray for a moment but Alexander keeps working. Garces throwing shots but Alexander is blocking nicely. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T4# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Garces sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Alexander defending well though. #SUB2# Garces is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Garces has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.#SU2# Garces escapes and gets back to his feet. Nice uppercut lands for Alexander. That snapped Garces's head back.
Good shot there by Alexander. Alexander misses with a hook. Garces ducked under it nicely. The fight stays on the outside here - Garces looks like he's thinking about clinching though. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Garces tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Alexander manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Garces ducks under a wild hook from Alexander. Garces ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Luis Garces will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. He thinks about going to the ground but Garces looks back up at him and smiles so Alexander waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
#ROC# Garces is rocked! Alexander misses the shot to the body. Garces is still on wobbly legs! Can Alexander finish him? The crowd cheers as Alexander lands an impressive looking overhand right. Garces doesn't seem phased though. This has been an exciting period of action! Alexander throws an off balance right hand
#TD2# and Garces counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Alexander! Garces seems to have recovered his senses.#SUB2# Garces tries for a kimura but Alexander is defending well. The strikes coming from Garces are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Garces trying to control the action but Alexander is working from the bottom. Luis Garces has got the better of the ground game so far. Alexander takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
#T1##SUB2# Garces tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Garces has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! #SUB2# Garces working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Alexander is not content to let Garces control the position. Garces misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
#T2# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.#SUB2# Garces is trying to get an arm triangle but Alexander is defending well. Alexander tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Garces wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Garces in side control, throwing shots but Alexander defends. #SUB2# Garces has hold of Alexander's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Alexander seems comfortable defending it but Garces has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Alexander is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Alexander is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Garces couldn't care less - he's delighted!

#R1# Alexander cracks Sizemore with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Sizemore slips under a jab. Sizemore tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Alexander works Sizemore's body with a nice hook. Brayden Alexander seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. #ROC# Sizemore is rocked!#CUT# It looks like Michael Sizemore has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nice body punch from Alexander. Sizemore is still on wobbly legs! Can Alexander finish him? Sizemore looks winded! Alexander lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Sizemore up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Alexander from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Sizemore's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

#R1# Ekeocha defending well as Alexander loads up on a big left hand. Ekeocha tries to clinch but Alexander moves out of range. Ekeocha is looking to clinch but Alexander is avoiding it.
A jab from Alexander does it's job there.#CUT# It looks like Amar Ekeocha has been cut. Brayden Alexander seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Alexander misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ekeocha.
Alexander with a nice cross. Alexander cracks Ekeocha with a right hand to the side of the head. Alexander throws an uppercut from hell that sends Ekeocha clean off his feet! He's out cold! Alexander stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
