#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Turner shoots in but Miles avoids the takedown attempt easily. Miles staying out of range there. Miles misses with a few strikes there.
Miles throws a combination that misses and Turner counters with a nice uppercut. Miles lands a body shot.
The fighters circling - Turner throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Turner fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Miles looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Miles closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Miles moves out of range as Turner strikes. Turner misses with a double jab.
Miles swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Turner doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.#T1# Miles jabs Turner to the body, keeping him at a distance. Turner moves out of range of the body kick. Miles lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Turner looks to score with a jab to the body but Miles is just out of range. Turner tries for a takedown but Miles circles away easily and Miles counters with a nice body shot. Turner looks winded! Miles changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Miles misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

#ROC#Turner is rocked!#CUT#The cut above Micheal Turner's eye is starting to cause him problems now. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Miles lands with a kick to the ribs.
Turner is still on wobbly legs! Can Miles finish him? Turner has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Miles. Are you kidding me?! Miles ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Turner clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!

Santiago Munez really struggled with his weight cut for this fight. After coming in at 208.6, he had two hours to cut the additional weight. He was unable to do so and as a result, his fight with Micheal Turner was cancelled. |

#R1# Nice body punch from Turner. Turner doesn't succeed with the takedown and Boxer counters with a two punch combo. Turner fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
#TD# Boxer looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Turner! Turner throws up a few punches. Turner wants to control but Boxer postures up. Turner is trying to escape the position but Boxer is controlling the position. Turner taking a bit of punishment here - Boxer scoring with strikes. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! You can see the frustration on Turner's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Turner gets back to half guard.#T1# Turner works his way to full guard. Good work. Turner is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Boxer is controlling him. Boxer pushes down on Turner's leg and manages to get into half guard. Turner trying to control here.

#T2# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Boxer sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Turner defending well though. Still in half guard, Boxer seems content to control. Turner is pressing down on Boxer's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Boxer prevents Turner from getting back to his feet. Turner wants to sweep here but Boxer controlling him for the moment. #REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Boxer tries a head kick but it misses.

#REVB# The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Turner slips nicely into half guard. Boxer tries to roll over but Turner keeps him under control. Boxer wants to control but Turner is keeping busy.

Turner is trying to control the action in half guard but Boxer is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. That was a close round but I would say that Joe Boxer will probably get the nod. That's time! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Turner lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Turner landing a few strikes. Boxer holding on. Turner wants to lay and pray for a moment but Boxer keeps working. Boxer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Turner on the ground.#T1# Boxer is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Boxer is squirming around, avoiding Turner's attempts to control the action. Turner pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.#T4# Boxer is looking to get to half guard. Micheal Turner showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Turner lands a big shot there that rocks Boxer but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
