Strongman tries to close the distance and clinch but Rossi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Rossi connects with a single shot there.
Strongman has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Rossi connects with a crisp jab.
Rossi scores with a shot to the body.
Strongman misses with an uppercut. Rossi saw that one coming.
Rossi lands with a nice body punch.
Rossi misses with a looping left.#KD#
Rossi feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Strongman sprawling to the canvas! Strongman rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Rossi finish him?!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rossi ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Strongman's jaw. Strongman's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Rossi does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Rossi throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Rossi throws a right and a left that Durant avoids nicely.
Durant appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Rossi scores with a jab. Durant acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Rossi swings for the body but Durant moves out of range.
Rossi throws an overhand right that lands on Durant 's shoulder, as Durant tries to avoid the shot.
Durant swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Rossi misses with a jab, cross combination.
Marco Rossi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rossi swings widly with a right hand
and Durant counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Durant slips a straight right by Rossi.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Durant counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Rossi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Durant circles away quickly and effectively.

Durant needs to keep his hands up - Rossi had a free shot at his head there.
Rossi jabs Durant to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Oh Durant is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rossi throws an uppercut from hell that sends Durant clean off his feet! He's out cold! Rossi stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.

Strongman misses with a few strikes there.
Strongman fails to land with a series of punches.
Rossi jabs Strongman right on the nose. Strongman blinks but takes it well.
Rossi looks to land a combination but Strongman avoids it well.
Rossi blocks the body kick.
Rossi throws a right and a left that Strongman avoids nicely.
Strongman is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Rossi avoids a punch combination nicely.
Rossi misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rossi is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Strongman.
Rossi getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Strongman shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rossi defends it nicely.
Rossi's corner calls for a 1-2. Rossi obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rossi cracks Strongman with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Strongman falls to his knees and Rossi doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Rossi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Boonen manages to avoid it.
Boonen displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rossi throws out the jab.
