#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Strikes misses with a wild body shot. Strikes cracks Spar with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.#TD2# Spar throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Strikes was covering up waiting for the punch and Spar finishes the takedown easily into guard. Spar works a leg free and moves into half guard. #SUB2# Spar is looking for a kimura but Strikes is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Spar to get the leverage. Spar passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Strikes! Spar seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Strikes is holding on tight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Spar working for a guillotine from mount but Strikes is in no mood to give up. Strikes tries to hold on but Spar postures up.#T1# Strikes is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Strikes stops Spar from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. #SUB2# Spar is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Strikes is surviving well by controlling Spar's body position as best he can. Spar wants to take his opponent's back but Strikes doesn't allow it. #T2# Spar trying to control but Strikes is having none of it. #SUB2# Spar with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Strikes has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
#T3##SUB2# Strikes is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Spar gets his way!

#T4# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Spar avoiding Strikes 's attempts to control his hands. #SUB2# Spar is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Strikes knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Strikes for a finish. #SUB2# Spar is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Strikes is defending well though. Spar let's go of the attempt for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Spar keeps control of the position as Strikes tries to break free.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Strikes trying to control the action but Spar just sinks the hooks in. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wrestling Spar dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.#R2# Strikes moves in looking to clinch but Spar pushes him off. Strikes moves away from the strike by Spar. A counter left hand to the body from Strikes misses its target.#TD2# Spar closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Strikes did well to prevent Spar getting side control. Spar is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Strikes! #SUB2# Spar is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Strikes to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Strikes shrugs it off. #SUB2# Strikes defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Spar. #SUB2# Spar working for a submission but Strikes is keeping him at bay. Spar wants to take Strikes's back here but Strikes is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

Strikes stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Spar swivels though and keeps the full guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Strikes looking for a sweep. Not yet Strikes, not yet. Strikes keeping full guard, as Spar tries to pass. Spar stands and throws Strikes's legs to the side, diving into side control. Spar has knee on belly and moves into mount. Tapta Strikes has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Spar takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Spar trying to control but he's not successful this time. Wrestling Spar is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Spar fails to take his opponent's back.
And that's the end of the fight! Wrestling Spar comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Spar winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
