#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Putilyn misses with an uppercut. Sasai saw that one coming. A little feinted left hand from Sasai on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Putilyn stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Putilyn wants it to stay on the feet. Sasai throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Putilyn's waist but Putilyn gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sasai off to one side. Putilyn drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Sasai defends it well. Putilyn misses with a lunging right hand
and Sasai counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Putilyn misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sasai.
Sasai throwing a counter right hand but Putilyn manages to avoid it. Sasai fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Junichi Sasai. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Putilyn misses with a straight left. Griggs lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Putilyn should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Griggs lands on the inside with an uppercut. A shot in the inside from Griggs. Putilyn's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!#CUT#It looks like Alex Putilyn has been cut. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Griggs scores with a shoulder strike. Griggs lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Putilyn backwards. Griggs lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Putilyn backwards. #ROC#Putilyn is rocked! Griggs lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Dunsworthy . Dunsworthy stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Putilyn tries to throw a body punch but Dunsworthy avoids it by throwing Putilyn back against the cage. Dunsworthy lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. A head punch blocked on the inside by Dunsworthy . Dunsworthy 's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. Putilyn tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Alex Putilyn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#KD2# Putilyn cracks Dunwood with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Putilyn has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Dunwood to stand back up!#ROC2#Dunwood is rocked!#CUT2#It looks like Thomas Dunwood has been cut. Putilyn lands a brutal uppercut that launches Dunwood off his feet! Dunwood tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
