#R1##CL2# Smoke closes the distance and clinches. Smoke tries to break free but Ryder pushes him back against the cage. Smoke is trying to force a seperation but Ryder has the dominant position. Ryder tries to pull guard but Smoke won't allow it.
Nice body punch from Smoke - that landed with a thud.
Ryder tries to score a body lock takedown but Smoke shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Ryder wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Ryder is working for takedown but Smoke is calmly controlling the position for now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josh Ryder. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ryder jumps guard but Smoke turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Ryder wants a takedown but no success here.

Smoke tries to break the clinch but Ryder is controlling the position. Ryder keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Smoke's efforts to push away. Smoke wants to break free but Ryder has control.

Smoke lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. The crowd cheers as Smoke lands an impressive looking overhand right. Ryder doesn't seem phased though. Ryder takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Smoke cracks Ryder with a good jab. Smoke misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Smoke scores with a crisp jab that stopped Ryder in his tracks. #ROC2#Ryder is rocked! Smoke lands with a right and another and another! Ryder is in big trouble! Smoke lands again and this time it's lights out for Ryder! A quality knockout there for Smoke.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Big Smoke! A very excited looking Big Smoke rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed. |

#R1# Ryder ducks right into an uppercut from Tug. #CUT#It looks like Josh Ryder has been cut. Tug lands with a straight right. Ryder didn't see that one coming.#TD2# Excellent takedown into side control there by Ryder. Tug wants to get back to his feet but Ryder is dominant here and he's now got Tug's back!#SUB2# Ryder working for a choke but Tug is defending well. Will Ryder go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ryder lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Ryder.
Ryder is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Tug. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. Ryder gets his hands free as Tug looks to control. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Ryder is trying to stick to Tug's back but Tug is turning into Ryder. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Ryder's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Tug. Mark Tug seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ryder pivots, looking for a leg kick but Tug is out of range and Ryder settles back down. Tug throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ryder stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.#TD2# Tug tries to sprawl but Ryder drives through with a takedown into half guard. Tug trying to hold on to Ryder's head to control him but Ryder postures up.
#SU2# Ryder decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Sloppy strikes from Tug. Those never looked like landing. Tug stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tug wants it to stay on the feet. Ryder looks winded! Tug scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Tug eventually gives up the hold. Ryder tries to roll over but Tug keeps him under control. Ryder trying to control but Tug postures up.

Lesnar postures up in Ryder's guard and throws a big left but Ryder blocks it. Ryder is looking to stand up but Lesnar isn't so interested in that idea. #SUB2# Ryder looking for a guillotine here but Lesnar defends easily.
Lesnar not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ryder keeping full guard, as Lesnar tries to pass. #SUB2# Ryder has his foot on Lesnar's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lesnar works his way back into a safe position though.#T1# Lesnar with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Lesnar with a nice head shot there. Is there anything that Ryder can do to turn this around? Ryder takes a swing at Lesnar's ribcage but misses. Ryder throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lesnar's waist but Lesnar gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ryder off to one side. Josh Ryder has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Cain Lesnar is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Ryder takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Lesnar connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
And that's the end of the fight! Cain Lesnar showed his dominance in that final round. Well Lesnar has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Ryder postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Ryder trying to control but Gunn is working from the bottom. Ryder controlling from the top position. Ryder stopping the sweep attempt from Gunn.#SUB# Ryder got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gunn has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ryder has managed to get both his arms back between Gunn's legs - danger averted. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ryder forces his way into half guard.
