Salamanca unleashes a big counter combination but Nabiev bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Nabiev tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Salamanca swivels and escapes.#TD# Nabiev scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Salamanca kicks Nabiev off and gets back to his feet. Nabiev closes this distance looking for a takedown but Salamanca circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gaidar Nabiev. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nabiev dives in for a single leg takedown but Salamanca sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Nabiev looking for a takedown. #BC2# Salamanca manages to break the clinch.

I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Salamanca tries to improve position but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McKee is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Salamanca's shoulder. That is not cool. McKee advances nicely into full mount. McKee sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Salamanca tries to get back to half guard but can't. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McKee looking to control and managing it successfully. Warhelmet throws a strike but Salamanca rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. #REVB# Warhelmet keeping moving, preventing Salamanca from controlling successfully.
