#R1# Juada looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Jay goes for a double leg but Juada avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Juada continues to drive forward. Jay tries to score a body lock takedown but Juada shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Jay drops down looking for an ankle pick but Juada pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tim Jay. That's going to take a lot out of him.#TD# Jay bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Juada tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jay wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Juada can't do much from the bottom here. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Juada can do anything to dispel that myth. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jay creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Juada sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Jay gets to mount! Juada was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Poor strikes thrown by Jay there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Juada is squirming around, avoiding Jay's attempts to control the action. Juada is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. That was a close second round but I would say that Tim Jay will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Brook moves in looking to clinch but Jay pushes him off.#CL# Brook drives through and clinches with Jay against the cage.
Brook is looking for a takedown.#BC2# Jay pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.#TD2# Jay closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Jay trying to control the pace. Jay is looking to advance position but Brook won't allow it. Jay really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brook. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brook wants to sweep but Jay has passed to side control!#T1# Brook can't do much from the bottom here. God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Brook has Jay pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. I was talking to Brook's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Jay is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Brook pulls him back up using the underhooks.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Danny Brook. I think Brook has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

#R1##CL2# Fezue fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jay, pushing him back against the cage. A short uppercut from Fezue. #BC2# Fezue breaks the clinch.
Fezue scores to the head and body with a nice combination! We've been informed that Fezue has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Jay with a lazy takedown attempt and Fezue counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Jay gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Fezue counters with a lovely shot to the body. Jay throws a head kick that misses. Some bone on bone action there as Fezue checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Fezue! But no joy. Jay misses with an uppercut
and Jay takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Fezue lands a jab to the head.
