#R1# Cozad throws a leg kick #TD2# and Kerr counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kerr postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Kerr lands a couple of elbows. Cozad keeping moving, preventing Kerr from controlling successfully. Kerr distracts Cozad with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Kerr controls from within his opponent's guard. Kerr landing some decent shots from guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kerr is in close to Cozad's body, working some short punches and elbows. Kerr keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Cozad's head. Kerr prevents Cozad from getting back to his feet. #T1# Kerr works over Cozad with some ground and pound from guard.#ROC2#Cozad is rocked! Kerr postures up, still in guard. A huge hammer fist lands that bounces Cozad's head off the mat! Cozad is out! He's out! Kerr jumps to his feet and celebrates with his corner!

#R1# Sydal dives in for a single leg takedown but Cozad sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Sydal misses with the combination.
Cozad lands a right hook to the body.
Sydal dives in and grabs Cozad's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cozad pushes down on Sydal's head and hops out. And Cozad counters with a quick kick to the body but Sydal blocks it. Sydal tries to clinch but Cozad is having none of it. #TD2# Sydal closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Sydal controlling the action here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cozad wants to get back to his feet. Cozad avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Sydal. #T1# Cozad wants to get back to his feet. Sydal trying to control the action but Cozad is working from the bottom. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sydal connects with a nice short shot to Cozad's temple. #SUB2# Sydal is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Cozad sees it coming and defends easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sydal trying to control from half guard but Cozad is working away. Cozad scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Sydal manages to mount him!
#T2##SUB2# Sydal has hold of Cozad's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Cozad manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Cozad is trying to stand but he's just given Sydal his back. Cozad is trying to stand back up. #T3##SUB2# Sydal is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Cozad has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Sydal has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Cozad taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Sydal doesn't care though - he's delighted!

#R1# Cozad scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Kong is looking to clinch. Cozad circles away from the clinch attempt.
Cozad takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Cozad throws a lazy right hand but Kong sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Kong tries to clinch #KD# and Cozad counters with a nice right hand that sends Kong toppling to the canvas! Kong scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Cozad finish him?! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cozad throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Cozad is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Kong tries to close the distance and clinch but Cozad swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Cozad lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kong at a distance.
Kong tries to clinch up and Cozad counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!

#R1# Cozad takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.#KD# Scobie lands a left and a right that send Cozad crashing to the mat, dazed. Scobie thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!#CUT#It looks like Mike Cozad has been cut. Cozad dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Scobie throws a hook but Cozad blocks it. Scobie circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Cozad to the canvas! Cozad doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Scobie keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

#R1# Trottsky tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Cozad manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.#CL# Trottsky fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cozad, pushing him back against the cage. Cozad is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Trottsky misses with the head strike.
Cozad pushes Trottsky back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Cozad scores with a shot to the side of Trottsky's head. Trottsky drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Cozad gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Trottsky misses with a hook from the clinch. #BC2# Cozad's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Trottsky on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Cozad swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Cozad misses the jab. Cozad tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Johnson was well out of range. Poor timing from Cozad. A jab from Cozad misses. Johnson tries to clinch but Cozad moves out of range. Johnson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Cozad scores with a nice head shot. Cozad has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Cozad throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Cozad follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Johnson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cozad manages to avoid it. A nice side step and Cozad releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.#T1# Johnson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Johnson keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

#R1# Martin throws a quick inside leg kick. Martin throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Martin lands with a kick to the temple. Cozad shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Martin displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cozad throws out the jab. Martin ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Martin fires out a quick counter leg kick but Cozad just manages to avoid it. Martin scores with a leg kick.
Martin moves out of range as Cozad strikes. Martin is looking to slow Cozad down with leg kicks. Cozad throws a head kick but Martin moves out of range.
Cozad throws a head kick that misses. Martin buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Martin throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A decent looking body kick lands there for Martin. Cozad takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Cozad has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Martin connects with an inside leg kick. Cozad throws a series of punches but Martin moves out of range. A nice inside leg kick there by Martin. That's going to slow Cozad down. Whack! Martin lands a heavy head kick that drops Cozad. The ref tackles Martin to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Cozad was done.

Malcolm Scobie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Scobie scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Scobie uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cozad. Cozad tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Scobie was well out of range. Poor timing from Cozad. Cozad walks into a jab. Cozad misses with a looping left. A little jabbing left from Scobie on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Cozad connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Scobie's hands.#CUT#It looks like Malcolm Scobie has been cut. Cozad takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cozad lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Scobie out cold! Scobie is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
