Chong definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Turn looks winded! Chong trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Chong is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Chong seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Turn for as long as he can get away with. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1# Chong has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.#REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Chong. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Chong. #TD# Chong has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Turn is trying to keep an underhook but Chong manages to get the takedown into half guard. Chong trying to control the pace. Chong working away from the top, dropping strikes. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Turn tries to hold on but Chong postures up. Chong regains half guard. Chong is pressing down on Sydal's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Chong is pulling down on Sydal's head to control his posture. Sydal sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Chong's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Chong preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Sydal trying to control from half guard but Chong is working away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chong desperately trying to maintain half guard. Chong has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Johnson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Chong is looking to control Johnson's arms but Johnson gets an underhook and turns him. Now Chong has his back to the cage. Chong being controlled against the cage. Johnson prevents the takedown attempt.
Jameson Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ching Chong. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. With the fighters up against the cage, Chong throws an elbow but misses. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Chong has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Chong tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Chong. Chong stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Chong throws a big elbow that misses. Chong has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Chong controls the pace of the fight for a moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB2# Hickock has his foot on Chong's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Chong works his way back into a safe position though.
