And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Roman Kersikov! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Ren Mimura.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Himura defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kersikov. Himura tries to close the distance and clinch but Kersikov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Kersikov looks for a takedown but Himura sprawls well.#CL# Himura rushes Kersikov and presses him up against the ropes.#TD# Himura has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kersikov uses from the top position. Himura controlling Kersikov's posture. Kersikov is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Kersikov wants to control from the top but Himura keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Himura wants to sweep but no luck. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.#T1# Kersikov trying to control but Himura is working from the bottom. Himura wants to sweep but no luck. Kersikov wants to control from the top but Himura keeps moving. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Kersikov working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.#SUB# Himura is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. #SUB2# Kersikov drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Kersikov seems to have locked his on tight now - Himura screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Kersikov, as he picks up the win!

Himura on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. A good leg kick by Koefti. Koefti looks to land a body kick but Himura moved away. Himura doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Himura tried to score with a low kick but Koefti checks it. Koefti throwing a counter right hand but Himura manages to avoid it. Koefti scores with a jab. Koefti throws a quick inside leg kick. Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Koefti screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

A nice leg kick lands there from Himura. Dan Kolov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kolov steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Himura. That one must have hurt. Kolov misses with a straight left. Himura avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Himura motions for Kolov to come forward. Himura throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Kolov digs a good hook to Himura's body.

Kolov throws out a loose jab but Himura uses good head movement to avoid it. Kolov connects with a body shot. Kolov throws the left hand but Himura avoids the punch easily. Wooooo! Murphy swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Himura thows a leg kick but Murphy checks it and Murphy counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Murphy looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Murphy just misses with a punch to the body.
A little jabbing left from Himura on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Murphy throws a jab when Himura was well out of range. Murphy on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Himura lands a jab to Murphy's midsection. Himura ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Murphy moves away. Himura tries to close the distance and clinch up but Murphy swats him away and circles back towards the center. Murphy misses with a body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Himura throws a low kick but it's checked well by Murphy. Murphy uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Himura. An attempted straight right counter from Murphy misses the target. Himura keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Murphy.#T1# Himura goes for a double leg but Murphy avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Murphy continues to drive forward. Himura throws a head kick that misses. Murphy was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Himura uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Murphy. Himura throws a sloppy head kick and Murphy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Himura tries a head kick but it misses.

We've been hearing reports that Himura has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Himura throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lunak sees it coming and avoids it easily. Himura blocks a head kick by Lunak.

Sup ducks into an uppercut from Himura and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!

#R1# Himura connects with a single shot there.#CUT2#It looks like Seydou Ahoussou has been cut. Ahoussou throws a lazy right hand but Himura sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Ahoussou drops his hands momentarily and Himura takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Ahoussou throws a nice looking combination but Himura bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Ahoussou misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Himura.
Himura lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Ahoussou checks the leg kick. Ahoussou takes a shot right to the bread basket. Ahoussou misses with a head kick.
Ahoussou is looking to chop away at Himura's legs. Ahoussou throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Ahoussou doesn't succeed with the takedown and Himura counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Ahoussou thinking. That kick from Ahoussou tenderised Himura's leg. Himura is trying to keep his angry face on. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Himura scores with a leg kick.

A countering left hand to the body from Oren misses. Himura fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Oren manages to avoid it. Himura looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Oren uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Himura. Oren dances in with a quick combination. Himura is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Oren snaps Himura's head back. Himura stumbles backwards against the cage. Oren steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Himura's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Himura just didn't come prepared.

Himura misses with a looping left. Himura takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Toshin cracks Himura on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Himura falls backwards against the cage. Toshin follows up with more strikes that drop Himura to his knees. Toshin keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Himura! This one is all over!
