Turles changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Koalani looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Turles is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Koalani is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Turles asserts his dominance and retains side control.#SUB2#

Turles thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Koalani is trying to defend against the choke here but Turles has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Turles Tightens the hold and Koalani taps out furiously! Turles displays superior BJJ to win the fight.

Koalani throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Fury counters with a stiff right hand.
Koalani looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Fury feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Koalani sprawling to the canvas! Koalani rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Fury finish him?!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A nice leg kick from Fury, right into the meat of the thigh.
Are you kidding me?! Fury ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Koalani clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!

Koalani tries to land knees in the clinch but Curry avoids the damage to the body.

Koalani has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Curry uses from the top position.
Koalani manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Curry manages to get himself to full guard.
