#R1# Macedo displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Durling. Durling takes a body punch but keeps moving. Durling takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
#CUT#It looks like Karate Durling has been cut. Macedo stuffs the takedown. Macedo half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. A looping hook to the body misses from Durling. Macedo does a little dance to reset his feet. Macedo tries to counter with a takedown but Durling is quick to defend against it. Durling changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Macedo tries to avoid it but Durling manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Macedo to the ground. Macedo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Marinho Macedo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Karate Durling. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Durling wants to clinch up but Macedo keeps it at a distance. Durling will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Macedo appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Durling looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Macedo is fending him off so far but Durling persists. Nope, Macedo circles away and we're back to standing. Macedo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Macedo attempts a counter takedown but Durling avoids it well and moves away.#T1# That kick from Macedo tenderised Durling's leg. Durling is trying to keep his angry face on. Durling closes the distance and clinches up with Macedo, looking for a takedown. Durling pushes Macedo against the cage but Macedo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Durling's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Macedo connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Durling scrambles back to his feet. Durling on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Karate Durling seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Durling looks winded! Macedo ducks down and throws a hook to the body.#CL# Macedo instigates a clinch. Macedo is working Durling over against the cage. Still in the clinch, Macedo scores with a nice short uppercut. A shot in the inside from Macedo. Macedo dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.#T2# Macedo lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Macedo pushes Durling back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Macedo gets through Durling's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Macedo scores with a nice hook to the head. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Macedo creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Macedo lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Good body shot from Macedo.

Macedo working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Durling tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Durling falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Macedo smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

#R1##TD# Silalahi fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Durling to the ground. Silalahi is now in Durling's guard. Silalahi is stalling in the full guard. Durling looking for a sweep. Not yet Durling, not yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Durling looking to control but Silalahi passes into half guard.
Durling is looking for a sweep. Silalahi is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Silalahi not doing much here.
Durling is trying to maintain the position but Silalahi is very close to passing his half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SU# Silalahi stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Durling to get to his feet. #CL# Silalahi moves into the clinch successfully.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Durling postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Silalahi wants to sweep here but Durling controlling him for the moment. Silalahi has control of Durling's left arm, preventing Durling from doing any damage. Durling lands a couple of decent looking shots. Durling throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Silalahi works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Durling is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Silalahi trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Durling trying to control but Silalahi is working from the bottom. Durling scoring with some ground and pound. #T2# Durling distracts Silalahi with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Durling wants to pass the guard but Silalahi is keeping the position. Durling with a flurry of punches that miss. Durling lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Silalahi striking off his back but it's not causing Durling any problems. Durling stays in close to Silalahi's body and controls the position. #SUB# Silalahi has his foot on Durling's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Durling works his way back into a safe position though. Silalahi striking from the bottom here. Silalahi keeping full guard, as Durling tries to pass. Durling really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silalahi. Silalahi parries the strikes from Durling easily there. Durling is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Silalahi to escape.

Silalahi tries to get to full guard but Durling has control of the leg. Durling landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Silalahi moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Durling working some strikes from top position. Durling trying to control but Silalahi is working from the bottom. Silalahi is trying to keep Durling in close.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Durling throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Silalahi works some decent striking defense from the bottom. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Christian Silalahi will probably get the nod. That's time! Silalahi's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.#R2# Durling looks to score with a jab to the body but Silalahi is just out of range. Durling fails with the takedown and Silalahi counters with a nice body shot. Silalahi uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Durling. Durling working over Silalahi with some ground and pound. Silalahi looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Silalahi makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Silalahi. Silalahi wants to stand but Durling is controlling the position. Durling rolls with it to try and escape but Silalahi cranks on the arm and Durling is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
