Wolfe is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Evanson looks to score with a jab to the body but Wolfe is just out of range.
Evanson lands a nice looking body shot.

Evanson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
No joy there for Wolfe, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Evanson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Wolfe.

Evanson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Wolfe to score with a decent uppercut.

Wolfe might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Evanson has cracked Wolfe with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Evanson lands another huge swinging hook and Wolfe tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Wolfe, before Evanson can land any more shots!

Kie closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Wolfe scores with a jab to the head.
Wolfe scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Kie shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wolfe sprawls well. Wolfe wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kie gets slowly back to his feet.
A decent looking cross lands there for Wolfe.
Wolfe lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.#CUT#It looks like Xavier Kie has been cut.
Wolfe lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Kie falls backwards - clearly groggy! Wolfe dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chase Wolfe!
Chase Wolfe spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant. |
