Macedo looks to score with a jab to the body but Lia is just out of range.
Macedo is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Lia just misses with a punch to the body.
Lia rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Macedo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Lia will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Macedo takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Macedo displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Durling.
Durling takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Durling takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Macedo stuffs the takedown.
Macedo half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Durling. Macedo does a little dance to reset his feet.
Macedo tries to counter with a takedown but Durling is quick to defend against it.
Durling changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Macedo tries to avoid it but Durling manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Macedo to the ground. Macedo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Marinho Macedo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Karate Durling.
