Mason tries to score a power double leg takedown but Polo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mason somewhat.
Polo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Mason shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Polo pinned against the cage. Polo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Polo looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Ashby manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Mason is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Ashby really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Mason seems to have locked his on tight now - Ashby screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Mason, as he picks up the win!
