#R1# Daia throws a sloppy head kick and Garcia counters with a lovely straight right hand! Daia showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Garcia.
Sloppy strikes from Garcia. Those never looked like landing. Daia wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Garcia rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Daia moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Garcia swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
#TD# and Daia counters with a takedown into side control. Daia trying to control the position but Garcia is working away. Daia in side control lands a decent elbow. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Garcia can do anything to dispel that myth.#SUB# Daia is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Garcia is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Daia controls the position from side control.#T1##SU# Daia stands up and we're back to a striking position. Daia has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Garcia finds it's way round the side to connect with Daia's head. #CL# Daia darts in and clinches Garcia up against the cage. Daia looking for a takedown. Daia tries to pull guard but Garcia forces him back to his feet, against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Garcia's face as he tries to break the clinch. #T2# Daia jumps guard but Garcia stands there with Daia around his waist. Daia gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Memian Daia. That's going to take a lot out of him.#BC# Daia breaks from the clinch.

Garcia feints with a jab and clips Daia right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Daia is sent crashing into the canvas and Garcia leaps in for the kill! Daia tries to get to his feet but Garcia is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Daia is in need of a savior and steps in!

#R1# Gates fails to land the takedown. Gates shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Daia as he avoids it easily. #CL# Daia drives through and clinches with Gates against the cage.
Daia with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Gates is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Daia is defending well. Memian Daia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bill Gates. Gates stalls. Gates jumps guard but Daia stands there with Gates around his waist. Gates gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gates stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Daia swivels though and keeps the full guard. Daia is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Gates is controlling him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T1# Gates takes a decent strike to the side of the head. Daia is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Daia looking for a sweep. Not yet Daia, not yet. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Daia holds on and takes a little breather. Gates trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Daia sprawls well. Daia seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.#TD# Daia scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.#T3# Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Daia in particular looking to stall. Daia works his way into full mount! #SU# Daia gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Gates scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
#CL2# Gates instigates a clinch. Daia looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.#TD# Daia manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. #T4##SUB# Daia looking for a triangle here. Gates is fighting it but it looks tight! Daia pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Gates is tapping out - this one is all over!
