Babikov misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Wayans is looking for a counter combo. Wayans slaps away a takedown attempt from Babikov, before circling back to the center of the mat. Damon Wayans has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Grigoriy Babikov. Babikov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.#TD# Wayans looking to score a takedown here. I really don't envy Babikov right now.

Babikov scoring with strikes to the body and head. Babikov working over Siegert with some ground and pound. Siegert looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Babikov has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Babikov lands a big elbow. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Babikov cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Babikov pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.#ROC#Siegert is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Siegert regains half guard. Siegert really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Babikov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Babikov is pressing down on Siegert's thigh, looking to free his foot. Siegert is holding on for now. #T1# Babikov moves into full mount! Siegert won't be happy about that! #R1##TD# Babikov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Thunderbird has his feet on Babikov's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Babikov looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Thunderbird is fending him off so far but Babikov persists. Nope, Thunderbird circles away and we're back to standing.
