#R1# Montero avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Montero ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. A slow jab from Montero misses its intended target. Nice uppercut lands for Adesanya. That snapped Montero's head back.
Adesanya swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Montero uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Adesanya. Montero jabs Adesanya right on the nose. Adesanya blinks but takes it well. Adesanya definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Adesanya misses with a body shot.

enabling Montero to counter with a crisp jab. Adesanya defending well as Montero loads up on a big left hand. Montero slips under a jab from Adesanya. Montero throws a big shot that misses. A cross from Adesanya lands. Adesanya lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!

#R1# McClain stalks Montero and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Montero's face. Montero staggers backwards, shaken. McClain has his takedown stuffed and Montero counters with a stiff right hand. #TD# Montero gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Montero controlling McClain's posture. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Montero can do anything to dispel that myth. Montero is trying to control the position from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McClain wants to control from the top but Montero keeps moving. #T1# Montero has McClain pulled in close to control his posture. Montero is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. McClain seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. #REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. McClain dives in and grabs Montero's left leg, looking for a takedown. Montero pushes down on McClain's head and hops out. Montero connects with a single shot there. McClain takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Montero throws a hook but McClain avoids it easily. McClain shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Montero pinned against the cage. Montero gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Montero! But no joy. McClain looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ashton McClain. That's going to take a lot out of him.#T2# McClain gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Montero counters with a lovely straight right hand! McClain closes this distance looking for a takedown but Montero circles away. Montero is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. McClain fails to land the takedown. McClain shoots and misses and Montero cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Montero lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. McClain has his takedown stuffed and Montero connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.#ROC2#McClain is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Montero pounces like a tiger and cracks McClain with a vicious hook! McClain is down but not out! Montero follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

#R1# Montero throws a shot to the body.
Senter gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Montero uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Senter. Senter walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.#TD# Senter gets a takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.#SUB# Senter maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Montero could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Senter has cracked it and Montero is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Senter!
