No luck with that takedown attempt from Serrano. Kinkead wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Jimar Kinkead has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lawson Serrano. Serrano misses with a takedown attempt and Kinkead connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. No luck with that takedown attempt from Serrano. Dohbopavich manages to land in guard. Kinkead is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Kinkead distracts Dohbopavich with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Dohbopavich is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kinkead is controlling him. Kinkead throws a big right hand that misses. Dohbopavich is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kinkead gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and McCoy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Kinkead's coach down at Cozad The Island was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kinkead's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Kinkead takes one to the chin there. McCoy uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kinkead has time to react. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McCoy lands with an overhand left. Jimar Kinkead seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kinkead tries for a takedown but McCoy circles away easily and McCoy counters with a huge left! Kinkead is in big trouble!
