Lozano will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.#SU2# Pearce stands up from Lozano's guard - Pearce perhaps looking for a knockout. Pearce misses with a takedown attempt #CL# and Lozano counters into the clinch. Nicely done. #TD2# Pearce gets control of Lozano's arms and successfully pulls guard. Pearce will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Pearce keeping moving, preventing Lozano from controlling successfully. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pearce is on top in guard.
#REVB# We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pearce is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Lozano has his hands on Pearce's head, controlling the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T1# Pearce scoring with some ground and pound. Pearce controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Pearce is working Lozano over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Pearce sitting in guard, not really doing much. Lozano on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lozano tries to get out of the position. Lozano wants to sweep here but Pearce controlling him for the moment. #T2# The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Lozano not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Lozano might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Lozano looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Pearce puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Pearce performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Lozano won't allow Pearce to pass to mount. #SUB2# Pearce is trying for a kimura here. Lozano looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Pearce wins by kimura!
