#BC2# Schools breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Schools wants to clinch. Pace throws a shot from downtown. Schools moves away and avoids it. Schools feints the counter takedown. Schools lands a jab to the head.
#CUT2#It looks like Osvaldo Pace has been cut.#CL# Pace closes the distance and clinches. Pace could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Pace has a couple of punches blocked by Schools.
Pace is stalling here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pace misses with a hook from the clinch. Good body shot from Pace.
Pace tries to land knees in the clinch but Schools avoids the damage to the body. Pace will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Schools up against the cage. Pace lands on the inside with an uppercut. #T1##BC2# Schools pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Pace throws a jab but it's blocked by Schools. Schools is clearly looking to counter with head kicks. Pace throws an overhand right that lands on Schools's shoulder, as Schools tries to avoid the shot. Pace tries to clinch up and Schools counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Pace thinking. Schools connects with a looping right hand.
Pace throws a jab when Schools was well out of range. Schools shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pace sprawls well. Pace wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Schools gets slowly back to his feet. Pace misses with an uppercut. #T2# A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Schools. Pace was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. A swing and a miss from Pace. No luck for Schools with that takedown attempt. A little feinted left hand from Pace on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Osvaldo Pace has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rayker Schools. Pace moves in looking to clinch but Schools pushes him off. Schools moves out of range of the strikes. Schools is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. The fight stays on the outside here - Schools looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Schools avoids the body shot from Pace.
Schools throws a nice inside leg kick. Pace misses with a body shot.
Schools tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Pace defends well and Schools ends up having to push Pace into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.#T3# Schools misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pace keeps the fight on the outside. A little feinted left hand from Pace on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Pace falls off balance throwing a combination
#CL2# and Schools counters by clinching up. Pace tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Schools's elbow. Schools is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Pace is defending well. Pace with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Pace with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Schools wants a takedown.
Pace lands an uppercut. Schools wants to get back to striking at distance but Pace won't allow it.
Schools is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Pace lands a right hand. Schools wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.#T4# Pace taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Pace working some nice short punches in the clinch. Schools misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Pace.
Pace tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. #TD2# Schools has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Pace uses from the top position. Pace trying to control but Schools is working from the bottom. Schools working a defensive guard here.
Schools bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Pace's guard. #REVB# The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pace trying to keep a closed guard but Schools is proving a slippery customer.
#SU2# Schools decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Osvaldo Pace will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Osvaldo Pace's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.#R2# Schools slips under a jab from Pace. Pace throws a right and a left that Schools avoids nicely. Pace misses with a hook
#KD2# and Schools counters with a crisp one two that drops Pace! Schools thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Pace to his feet! Pace is in big trouble! Pace throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.#CL# Pace moves into range and clinches up with Schools. Pace lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Pace tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Schools drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Pace gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Pace lands a right hand that snaps the head of Schools backwards. Pace misses with the head strike.

Pace throws a shot from downtown. Schools moves away and avoids it. Schools tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Pace misses with a double jab
and Schools cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Pace misses with a straight left. #T2# A head kick by Schools - that's a beauty! Pace is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Schools can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
