Stanton ducks under a wild hook from Stabler. Stanton is looking for the big counter here. Stanton takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. A lazy left from Stabler finds it's target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stabler throws the left hand but Stanton avoids the punch easily. Stanton takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

In the red corner, competing out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 23 wins and 13 losses; Jim Marston! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 36 wins and 20 losses; Tanner Kyng! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Steve Smith.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.#CL# Marston rushes Kyng and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Kyng has Marston pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Marston manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Kyng changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Marston fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Marston shoots and misses #CL2# and Kyng counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kyng. Kyng drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Marston gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Marston avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Marston is trying to drag Kyng to the mat but Kyng just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
