#R1##TD2# Brah shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hendrix napping and manages to drive through into side control! Hendrix dodges the ground and pound from Brah. Brah lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. #SUB2# Brah thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Brah working the head and body with strikes. Hendrix is looking to regain half guard here but Brah keeps moving and retains side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. An elbow from Brah crashes against the mat.
#SU2# Brah stands up and beckons Hendrix to his feet. #TD2# Brah scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.#T1##SUB2# Brah tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. #SUB2# Brah tries for a kimura but Hendrix is defending well. Brah throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.#T2# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Brah in side control, just content to control the action for now. Brah in side control, throwing shots but Hendrix defends. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SU2# Brah stands up. #TD# Hendrix shoots in and gets a takedown into Brah's guard.#ES2# Brah is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. #T3##TD# Hendrix jumps guard and drags Brah to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Brah trying to control the position from guard on top but Hendrix is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Brah in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Brah is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SU2# Brah stands up from Hendrix's guard - Brah perhaps looking for a knockout. Hendrix slips a jab and a cross from Brah.
#TD2# Brah gets a takedown into half guard.#T4# The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Brah takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Brah is looking to take a break and control but Hendrix is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Brah looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hendrix with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Brah missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Hendrix is in trouble now - Brah has advanced to mount! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Edgy Brah dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! #R2# Brah misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hendrix swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Hendrix blocks the body kick.
#TD2# Brah decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Brah wants to advance to full mount but Hendrix doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Hendrix looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Brah slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brah makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.#T1# Brah pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hendrix is keeping the position for now. #SUB2# Brah drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hendrix dives on top into guard.#REVR# Hendrix would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Hendrix has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Brah controlling the position. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Hendrix's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Brah has Hendrix pulled in close to control his posture. Brah has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Hendrix throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Brah works some decent striking defense from the bottom. #SUB2# Brah has his foot on Hendrix's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hendrix works his way back into a safe position though.#T2# Brah is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hendrix accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Hendrix wants to stand but Brah has a closed guard, so he can't escape. #SU# Hendrix stands up from guard. Let's bang! Brah misses the shot to the body. #TD2# Brah scores with a takedown into Hendrix's guard. Brah pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hendrix is keeping the position for now. Brah forces his way into half guard.#T3# Brah wants to pass to mount but Hendrix is defending the position. #SUB2# Hendrix is defending against the submission attempts here by Brah.
Hendrix is staying active underneath Brah, who seems content to just control the action from this position. #T4# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Brah moves nicely into side control. Brah throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Hendrix works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Brah scoring with strikes to the body and head. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hendrix tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Brah tries to stand and escape but Hendrix is controlling the position. Hendrix is trying to control but can't.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Edgy Brah showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round! #R3##CL2# Brah moves into range and clinches up with Hendrix. A left hand lands to the body for Brah.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Hendrix.#TD# Hendrix tightens his grip and picks Brah up, before dumping him to the ground. Brah manages to land in guard. #ES2# The fighters are working up against the cage. Brah manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.#TD2# Brah wants the takedown. Hendrix is fighting it off but Brah persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Hendrix's guard against the cage.#ES# Hendrix scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!#CL2# Brah closes the distance and pushes Hendrix back into the cage.#TD2# Brah successfully pulls guard.
#T1##SUB2# Brah is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Hendrix frees his head nicely. Oh but Brah has switched to an armbar! Hendrix is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
