An attempted straight right counter from Burch misses the target.#CL2# Wick clinches. Burch tries to break the clinch but Wick is controlling the position. Burch is trying to break the clinch but Wick has him pressed against the cage. Wick drops down looking for an ankle pick but Burch pulls his leg out and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Burch tries for a takedown but Wick circles away easily#CL2# and Wick counters by moving into the clinch. #BC# Burch breaks from the clinch.
Wick will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Francis Burch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Wick.#T1# A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Wick. Burch went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Wick pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Burch is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Wick can do to turn this around? Burch on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Wick is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Wick controlling the action here for a moment.

You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. #R1# A head kick from Parker lands but McGrath takes it in his stride. McGrath keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. A clash of legs there as McGrath blocks the low kick. Parker could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. McGrath works over Parker's head and body with a nice combination. McGrath looks to land a combination. Parker sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. McGrath lands a jab-cross combination. #CUT2# It looks like Johnathan Parker has been cut. Parker shoots in for a double leg but McGrath sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. McGrath tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! McGrath throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Parker's jaw, knocking him onto his back! McGrath dives in looking to finish as Parker flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block McGrath's strikes! McGrath is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Parker's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Parker was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Nice escape there! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Johnson fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Johnson in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Johnson working away. Burch is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Johnson asserts his dominance and retains side control. Johnson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Burch. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Johnson looks up at the clock and then as Burch takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Johnson smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Parker might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Parker avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Soylld. #SUB# Parker looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Soylld is stalling here. Parker is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Soylld seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Parker has ended up in side control on the top. Harris is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Carney dodges the punch combination from Harris.

Vega missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Vega stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Villarreal swivels though and keeps the full guard.
