#R1# Wesbank doesn't succeed with the takedown letting Hawkins counter with a right hand. Hawkins fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Wesbank on the side of the head. Wesbank takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Hawkins ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Wesbank tries for a takedown but Hawkins manages to get underhooks.
Still in the clinch, Hawkins scores with a nice short uppercut. Wesbank has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hawkins avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lukas Wesbank. That's going to take a lot out of him.#BC# Wesbank escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

#R1# Thompson scores with a hook to the body. Wesbrook takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Wesbrook misses with a head kick.
Thompson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Thompson lands a head shot. Wesbrook throws a lazy body kick and Thompson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Wesbrook takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Thompson's corner calls for a 1-2. Thompson obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Wesbrook throws a body kick that misses. Wesbrook with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Thompson to score with a decent uppercut. Wesbrook throws a chopping leg kick but Thompson manages to avoid taking any serious damage. A head kick by Wesbrook misses and Thompson counters with a left to the body. Thompson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Thompson connects with a nice looking jab.

#R1# Rodriguez punishes Wesbrook's body with a nice straight punch. Rodriguez wants to clinch. Rodriguez darts in and out, connecting with a jab. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Wesbrook has eaten all the pies! Rodriguez paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.#TD2# Wesbrook closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Rodriguez trying to control but Wesbrook postures up.
Wesbrook is looking to take a break and control but Rodriguez is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Rodriguez wants to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wesbrook wants to control but Rodriguez is keeping him busy. #R1# Wesbrook takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. One turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Pro One seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. One works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.#CUT# It looks like Goliath Wesbrook has been cut. One feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Wesbrooks jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Wesbrook looks winded! Wesbrook with a lazy takedown attempt and One counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
