Shaffer is defending well against a takedown attempt. Jones Jr has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Shaffer is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Jones Jr fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Burt Shaffer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roy Jones Jr.#TD# Shaffer has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Roy Jones Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
