Sharpe drives through and clinches with Vonfisher against the cage.
Sharpe drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Sharpe jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Vonfisher walks away with a smile on his face. Sharpe gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. #TD2#
A momentary lapse in concentration from Sharpe enables Vonfisher to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sharpe manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.#SUB#
Vonfisher is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Sharpe has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Vonfisher is looking to defend but Sharpe has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Vonfisher! Sharpe pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Vonfisher taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Arnoldo Sharpe!

Gracie avoids the head kick by Rossi.
Rossi darts in looking for a takedown but Gracie gets double underhooks and turns Rossi into the cage.
Gracie drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Rossi defends it well.
Gracie stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gracie wants it to stay on the feet.
Gracie tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Rossi shoots in for a double leg but Gracie sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kubo Rossi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rossi missing with a left hand there. Gracie was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Gracie tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Gracie leaves Rossi with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
