Marchington tries to land a sweep but no joy. Marchington throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Marchington manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Griffin manages to get himself to full guard.
#REVB# Marchington wanted to stand there but Griffin had control of the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Marchington missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Griffin is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Marchington tries to free his leg and advance position but Griffin is retaining full guard. #T1# Marchington keeps trying to improve his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T1# Mongomery really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nicholson.
