The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ambe controls from within his opponent's guard. Ambe has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Abonyi is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Abonyi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ambe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Abonyi is looking to get back to full guard here but Ambe has managed to pass to side control instead. Ambe is putting a hurting on Abonyi here, landing some big shots from side control. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Abonyi has hold of Ambe's hands but Ambe slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Ambe scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Abonyi is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Ambe can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
