Handle drops an elbow to the side of Hsu's head. Hsu works his way to full guard. Good work. Hsu controls Handle momentarily but Handle frees himself. Handle stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hsu swivels though and keeps the full guard. Handle wants to control from the top but Hsu keeps moving. Handle must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Hsu not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Hsu is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVR# We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ledru misses the shot to the body. #TD# Ledru closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ledru lands in his opponent's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Insect wants to sweep but no luck. Ledru is working Insect over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Ledru trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Insect trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Insect wants to stand up but Ledru is controlling him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ledru cracks Insect with a solid left hand. Ledru won't allow Insect to sweep him here. Ledru stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Insect swivels though and keeps the full guard. Insect is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.#T1# Ledru lands a couple of digs.#ROC# Insect is rocked! Ledru postures up, still in guard. A huge hammer fist lands that bounces Insect's head off the mat! Insect is out! He's out! Ledru jumps to his feet and celebrates with his corner!

#R1##CL# Insect rushes Mallick and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Mallick has Insect pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Insect manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. #BC2# Mallick manages to break the clinch.
#TD# Insect closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Mallick wants to control but Insect postures up. Insect wants to stand but Mallick has his arm trapped. Mallick is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Insect is putting a hurting on Mallick here, landing some big shots from side control. Chamberlain tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Oxlong manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Oxlong tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Chamberlain defends well and Oxlong ends up having to push Chamberlain into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
