Skipper is trying to pull guard but McGregor turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Conor McGregor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mud Skipper. Skipper is trying to improve his position. McGregor tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Skipper is trying to get back to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Skipper is sneaking out the side here. Skipper looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Skipper is trying to improve his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McGregor wants to stand but Skipper is controlling his arm. Skipper wants to control but McGregor postures up. Skipper sneaks back into half guard.#SUB2# Skipper looking for submissions off his back. McGregor tries to stand but his arm is trapped. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! McGregor is tapping! Great win for Skipper!

#R1# Jones misses with a wild body shot. Jones throws a body punch but Fitzgerald moves out of range. Fitzgerald throws a right hand that misses
and Jones counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Fitzgerald misses with a straight right. Jones changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Nice shot by Fitzgerald.#CUT#It looks like Jon Jones has been cut. Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Fitzgerald scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.#TD2# Jones closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Fitzgerald wants to get back to his feet but Jones is dominant here and he's now got Fitzgerald's back! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jones is looking to control Fitzgerald but Fitzgerald is wriggling around and keeping busy. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
