A punch lands to the side of Bippus 's head but he takes it in his stride. Brutal feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bippuss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Bippus throws a head kick that misses and Brutal counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
And that's the end of the fight! Bertil Brutal comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Brutal has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. We've been hearing good reports from Aphelios's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Zues was covering up waiting for the punch and Neviim finishes the takedown easily into guard. Neviim working some strikes from top position. Zues on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Zues tries to get out of the position. Neviim pushes down on Zues's leg and manages to get into half guard. Zues is trying to stand up here but Neviim is controlling him well. Neviim drops an elbow to the side of Zues's head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Neviim landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Zues knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Neviim on the ground. Phoenix is looking to land body kicks. Phoenix lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Soares tries to clinch there but Phoenix circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Soares looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Phoenix throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Soares's waist but Soares gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Phoenix off to one side. Phoenix definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Phoenix throws out a leg kick but Soares moves out of range and Phoenix only half commits. Soares slips a jab and a cross from Phoenix.
